A selection of photographs taken from our 2018 office trip to Oxford. We always find it enriching spending time together discussing architecture that is beyond the realms of our usual office work, in a way which connects our thinking and our perception of British architecture.
We saw a diverse selection of architecture across the city, our favourite being the unexpected encounter with the Hilda Besse building by Howell, Killick, Partridge and Amis, whilst searching for the Zaha Hadid Investcorp Building.
Other highlights of the day included St Catherine’s College by Arne Jacobson, Somerville College accomodation by Niall McLaughlin, Bodleian Library by Giles Gilbert Scott, Blavatnik School of Government by Herzog & de Meuron, amongst others. The day was fortunately punctuated by pitstops for cool refreshments enroute.
